YourTurn (“YourTurn,” “we,” “us”) runs a group-buying marketplace where the price of a product drops as more people join a “turn.” This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
- Orders & shipping: the shipping address and contact details you provide so sellers can fulfill your orders.
- Payments: card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers — Stripe holds your card data and gives us only a token and limited details (e.g. card brand and last four).
- Usage: basic activity needed to run the service (turns you join, orders, referrals) and to keep the product working and secure.
How we use it
- To run turns, authorize holds, charge on fill, and process refunds.
- To let sellers fulfill and ship your orders.
- To send transactional email (join confirmations, fills, shipping, refunds).
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to provide support.
Sharing
We share only what’s necessary: order and shipping details with the seller fulfilling your order; payment data with Stripe; and infrastructure data with our hosting and email providers (e.g. Vercel, Supabase, Resend). We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices & rights
You can update your address and payment methods in the app, and you can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time — in the app or by emailing us (subject to records we must keep for completed transactions, fraud prevention, or legal reasons). Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Transaction records may be retained where required for accounting, tax, or legal obligations.
Children
YourTurn is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
