What a turn is
A turn is one product with two prices: the solo price (buy it alone, right now) and one low group price. The group price unlocks only if a set number of buyers join before the countdown ends — the turn page shows the fill bar climbing in real time as people join.
A worked example
Say a blender is $25 solo, and a seller opens a turn: $19 each if 10 people join by Sunday night.
You slide to join — your card gets a hold for your price, not a charge. You share your link and two friends join through it: every referred friend is another 2% off your own price, so you’re now at $18.24 — and their joins push the bar to 9 of 10.
One more buyer shows up in time → the turn fills: you’re charged $18.24, everyone else pays $19 minus their own referral discounts, and the seller ships. If it had stalled at 9 when the timer hit zero, every hold would be released — nobody pays, nothing ships.
Why sellers do this
